Alexandre Mencik

Alexandre is the founder and CEO of the Space Platform and of findfund.space and serves as chief business officer (CBO) and general counsel of SpaceDreamS, Board member of the ACCESS.SPACE Alliance, Board member of the French Astronomy Association and Director and Board member of the Luxembourg Space Tech Angels. 

He is the author of the guide to public financing and a mentor for Astropreneur, the CASSINI Mentoring programme, Copernicus Accelerator, EBAN Space, EIC Women Leadership Programme, Seraphim Capital and the Space Hubs Network. He invests in startups both personally as an angel investor and through ventures.

Alexandre is a former Executive Director and Associate General Counsel of a Fortune 200 company. He represented clients involved in the aerospace sector and other regulated industries and orchestrated the establishment of Sea Launch and the Digital Video Broadcasting.

Alexandre served in the European Commission, where he contributed to the adoption of the first EU Directive for the liberalization of air transport and participated in high level negotiations regarding EU accession and the Trans-European Transport Networks.

Alexandre Mencik has a background in Spacecraft Techniques and Technologies from the CNES in France and in Space Ressources from the Luxembourg Space Agency, received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Louvain and holds a Master degree in Air and Space Law and in Business from McGill University. Alexandre is married with four children.
